Pantomime Season

Whenever anybody thinks about the pantomime season, they will almost always think anywhere between November to February. But nowadays, pantomime shows can and are being put on at other times in the year.

Whilst it is still the case that the vast majority of shows are typically put on in the winter months, we increasingly have customers performing our pantomime scripts in Easter, Summer and more recently around the Halloween season. Fortunately we have many pantos which are ideal to put on in the spooky season, including Dracula, Frankenstein and Little Panto of Horrors. Although other titles are available.

Of the seasons other than winter for putting on pantomime shows, it seems that summer is becoming increasingly popular. This might be because the weather is generally better and therefore there is less chance of bad weather and snow forcing a cancellation. It might also be easier to get less mobile and elderly people out in warmer and more stable weather. Whatever the reason, there has certainly been a growing uptick of customers putting on our pantomimes in the summer months.

The way we see it. If plays and musicals are put on throughout the year, then there is nothing to say that pantomimes shouldn’t follow suit. So we’ll drink to all year-round pantos, and raise a toast our wonderful customers who we hope to continue serving whatever the season.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
